The 2011 race weekend will be September 24 and 25, so mark it down on your calendar now!!  We’re working on an enormous amount of events and activities for race fans and their families, so plan to bring the kids.

Race Update November 27, 2010

As most of you know, Versus Network was on Solomons Island all weekend filming the race. Well, the Solomons Island Offshore Grand Prix will be broadcast on December 12 at 4pm on the Versus Network.  Contact your TV provider for details and channel location, or visit the Versus Network.

Home of the National Championship Race for the 2011 OPA Offshore Racing Series, presented by GEICO, sponsored by Bayside Toyota/Chevrolet.

It's official, the Jersey Boyz are back, but this time the OPA National Championship Race will be determined in the waters off Solomons Island.  GEICO has teamed with Bayside Toyota/Chevrolet, the Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association and our sponsors to secure a knock-down, drag-out race course in front of the main sea wall on Solomons Island. Spectators and fans will find plenty of parking and up-close viewing of some of the worlds fastest boats on the water today, racing for the Championship, including the World Famous Miss GEICO. More information for the 2011 Race will be posted as things develop.
